Words you may see

Confession of judgment (COJ)A clause some funders use to get a judgment without a full lawsuit. Report any letter that mentions one.

UCC lienA public filing a funder makes against business assets. A UCC-3 termination statement is filed when it should end; the filing history may still show.

Bank freezeA hold on your bank account, often after a judgment. Call us the same day.
